Salem waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They were the clear victors by a 10-1 margin over the Corinth Riverhawks. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Generals also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.
James Beagle made a splash no matter where he played. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Beagle was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high.
In other pitching news, Stephen Yakubec and Cooper Saddlemire dominated on the mound.
