Snowflake extended their winning streak  to nine  on Friday, bumping them up to 9-0. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Mesquite Wildcats 41-13. The Lobos might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by 20  points or more this season.
Leading Snowflake to victory were  Brenner Green and  Jacob LaDuke.  Green gained 181 total yards and three touchdowns, while  LaDuke rushed for 95 yards and two  TDs on only nine carries. That's the most  rushing yards  LaDuke has posted since back in September of 2024.
 Snowflake's run defense was locked in: Mesquite could only muster 3.5 yards per carry. The Lobos hasn't allowed more than 0.8 yards per carry  in four consecutive  matchups.
As for Mesquite, they now  have a losing record of 4-5. While losing is never fun, they can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Arizona football rankings (they are ranked 98th, while Snowflake is ranked 29th).
  Kameron Gillie and  Andrew Joiner certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss.  Gillie rushed for 54 yards and one  touchdown, while  Joiner picked up 79 receiving yards and one  score.
 Coming up, Snowflake will challenge Arcadia at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Lobos will need to watch out since the Titans have now posted at least 31  points  in their last four contests. As for Mesquite, they will face off against Poston Butte at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
