After having lost a blowout to Bellevue in their previous contest, Camanche were happy to find some success on Friday. Camanche had just enough and edged out North Cedar 26-24. Having pegged this as anyone's game, the MaxPreps state rankings were right on the nose.
The victory bumped Camanche's record up to 2-1. North Cedar are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-3.
Next week Camanche take on Central Clinton/Calamus-Wheatland at 7:30 PM. As for North Cedar, they will face off against Columbus.
