The Fivay Falcons's four-game losing streak came to an end on Thursday. They came out on top against Hudson by a score of 65-52. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Fivay also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2023.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Fivay to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jamarian Miller, who scored 14 points along with six steals and five assists. Another player making a difference was Dominick Walsh, who scored 14 points along with three steals.
Despite the loss, Hudson still got an impressive performance from Tejacion Chapman, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 13 rebounds. Chapman is absolutely dominating the block category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season.
Fivay's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-8. As for Hudson, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.
Fivay won't have much time to rest: their next game is against IMG Academy Gray at 7:30 p.m. on January 12th. As for Hudson, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Hernando at 8:00 p.m.
