The Princeton Bulldogs have not had quite the year their fans were hoping for to this point, but back-to-back wins may be a sign of good things to come. They secured a 57-53 W over East Duplin on Friday.
Denicholas Gray continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 15 points along with six steals and three blocks. Those six steals set a new season-high mark for him. Jordyn Gaines was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Princeton's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for East Duplin, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
Princeton will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Raleigh Charter at 7:30 p.m. on January 4, 2024. East Duplin will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on North Duplin at 8:00 p.m. on January 3, 2024. One thing working in North Duplin's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
