 In other batting news, Elko got a  massive  performance out of  Kallista Crouch, who  went 3-for-4 with one  home run, four  runs,  and five  RBI. That's the most  hits  Crouch has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  Vanessa Romero, who  went a perfect 4-for-4 with four  RBI, two  runs,  and one  triple.
 Elko was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .571. They are 4-1 when  they post a batting average of .375 or better.
 Hug is  on  a  24-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4. As for Elko,  the  win  got them back to even at 4-4.
