After flying high against University Lake last Wednesday, Tenor came back down to earth. Tenor was the victim of a rough 88-63 defeat at the hands of Augustine Prep on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Tenor has suffered yet this season.
Despite the defeat, Tenor had strong showings from Quintyn Robinson, who scored 32 points along with three steals, and Kyrell Davis, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. Davis is absolutely dominating the rebound category: he's posted at least eight every time he's taken the court this season.
Tenor's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Augustine Prep, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.
Tenor will head out on the road to challenge Eastbrook Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Augustine Prep, they will be playing at home against Veritas/Tenor at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Veritas/Tenor is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
