Southeastern Christian Academy found their leader in underclassman Grady Price, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 17 rebounds. Eric Nyberg was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 14 rebounds.
Dillon Christian lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Thompson Stone, who scored 13 points along with three steals. Stone is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Sean Locklear, who scored 17 points.
Southeastern Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season. As for Dillon Christian, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.
Southeastern Christian Academy will head out on the road to challenge Liberty Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Liberty Christian Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 491st, while Southeastern Christian Academy is ranked 200th). As for Dillon Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Conway Christian at 7:30 p.m.
