Despite the loss, Kongiganak still got an impressive performance from Jarrett Brown, who scored 25 points. Brown scored a full 47.2% of Kongiganak's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Keon Fancyboy, who scored seven points.
Chief Paul Memorial pushed their record up to 1-0 with that win, which was their third straight at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.3 points per game. As for Kongiganak, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
