Two Rivers extended their losing streak to three on Tuesday, dropping them down to 8-6. They took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the New Holstein Huskies. Two Rivers saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Reagan Stalter, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI. Addison Peronto also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.
As for New Holstein, they pushed their record up to 9-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games.
On New Holstein's side, Reese Kraus made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out six batters over 6.1 innings while giving up three earned runs off six hits. Kraus has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI.
