Oak Park is 0-10 against Camarillo since April of 2019 but things could change on Monday. The Eagles will look to defend their home field against the Scorpions at 3:30 p.m. Oak Park will be strutting in after a victory while Camarillo will be coming in after a defeat.
On Thursday, Oak Park needed a bit of extra time to put away Grace. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 win over the Lancers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Eagles have posted since March 22nd.
Oak Park got a great performance from Erika Samuels as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over 4.2 innings pitched. Samuels has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
