East Central HomeSchool fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Southern Christian on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 13-10 to Southern Christian. Even though they lost, East Central HomeSchool's still made a splash at the plate and bumped their average scoring up to 6.3 runs per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).

Isaac Davis made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double. He is on a roll when it comes to RBI, as he's now brought in three or more in each of the last three games he's played. Levi Jett was another key player, going 3-for-5 with three runs and one double.

This is the second loss in a row for East Central HomeSchool and nudges their season record down to 8-10. As for Southern Christian, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Central HomeSchool will head out to take on Wiregrass at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Southern Christian, they will venture away from home to face off against Non Varsity Opponent at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
