Northwest Christian School is 9-1 against Asotin since January of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Northwest Christian School Crusaders will be playing at home against the Asotin Panthers at 7:30 p.m. Northwest Christian School knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past 13 matches -- so hopefully Asotin likes a good challenge.
Northwest Christian School pushed their score all the way to 64 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Colfax by a score of 66-64. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game on Friday (59), Northwest Christian School still had to take the loss.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Ben Slade, who scored 15 points. Another player making a difference was Avi West, who scored 19 points.
Meanwhile, Asotin beat Davenport 56-44 on Saturday.
Northwest Christian School's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Asotin, they pushed their record up to 8-7 with that victory, which was their third straight at home.
Everything came up roses for Northwest Christian School against Asotin in their previous matchup back in January of 2023 as the team secured a 71-37 victory.
