Granger had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Cyprus on Tuesday. The Lancers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Pirates. The Lancers haven't had any issues with the Pirates recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Granger was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-19, 25-16.

Kj Faaome paced Granger's offense, picking up nine kills. Faaome got some help from Ky Hoang and his ten assists. Mason Biddulph controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Granger's victory bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Cyprus, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-13.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Granger will welcome West Jordan at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cyprus, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Taylorsville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Pirates are facing the Warriors at the right time seeing as the Warriors are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
