The Southview Christian Conquerors had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They managed a 43-37 win over Rockwell Christian School on Tuesday. This was a revenge matchup for Southview Christian, as the team was forced to settle for a 35-32 defeat when these two played last Friday.
Several Chargers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kylie Smith, who scored 15 points. Alayna Isbanioly was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Southview Christian's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-6. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.3 points per game. As for Rockwell Christian School, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-10.
Southview Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Rockwell Christian School's road trip will continue as they head out to face Union Grove Christian at 5:15 p.m. on February 15th.
