After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Saline, Dakota was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Anchor Bay Tars, sneaking past 5-4. This was a revenge game for the Cougars: when they faced off against the Tars last Tuesday, they had to take a 8-6 defeat.
Alivia Reardon spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on six hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one walk in eight consecutive appearances.
