Sedgwick won the last time they faced Bennington and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Cardinals had just enough and edged out the Bulldogs 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cardinals.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Sedgwick got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 23-25, 25-23.

Kalyn Sampson paced Sedgwick's offense, picking up 15 kills. Sampson got some help from Alivia Burns and her 20 assists. Jennah Wallace controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Despite the loss, Bennington still got an impressive performance from Mara Pickering, who had 19 digs.

Sedgwick's victory bumped their record up to 24-10. As for Bennington, the loss snapped their winning streak at five matches and leaves them with a 26-7 record.

Sedgwick wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Flinthills on the 9th. As for Bennington, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Ell-Saline on the 9th.
