After a string of five wins, the Pleasant Hope Pirates's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They were outmatched by Summit Christian Academy at home and fell 78-49.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Summit Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kash Pritchard, who scored 13 points along with 6 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Fischer Ethridge, who scored 12 points.
Pleasant Hope's defeat dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Summit Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.
Pleasant Hope will be playing at home against Wheatland at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Summit Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Christ Prep Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
