The Countryside Cougars will head out to square off against the Pinellas Park Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Countryside will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
Countryside not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 26, 2024. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Tarpon Springs a 9-0 shutout. The win continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Spongers: they've now won four in a row.
Kaitlyn Crouch made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only one hit over seven innings pitched. That one hit allowed gave her a new career-low. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in RBI (three).
