Northland Christian has been on the road for two straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Kansas City East Christian Academy Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Thursday, Northland Christian made easy work of the Mustangs and carried off a 59-37 victory. The win was just what Northland Christian needed coming off of a 82-42 defeat in their prior game.
Meanwhile, Kansas City East Christian Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 70-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of Metro Academy.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Jared Devine, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 14 rebounds. Maddox Carrillo was another key contributor, scoring 21 points along with seven rebounds.
Northland Christian's victory bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Kansas City East Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-11.
