The Saucon Valley Panthers will challenge the Salisbury Township Falcons at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.
Saucon Valley is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Louis E. Dieruff on Monday as they made off with a 16-1 victory. The win was nothing new for the Panthers as they're now sitting on four straight.

Eliza Sullivan and Ryan Gall did most of the damage at the plate: Sullivan went 3-for-4 with four RBI, one triple, and one run, while Gall went 3-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. Those four RBI gave Sullivan a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Cassidy Ash, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Saucon Valley kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 4 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 matches they've averaged 9.8.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Salisbury Township, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over Catasauqua on Monday. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by six runs or more this season.
Leilanna Negron was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with four RBI, one triple, and one run. That triple was her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Amelia Swoyer, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs and two doubles.
Saucon Valley pushed their record up to 6-7 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Salisbury Township, their victory bumped their record up to 8-9-1.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Saucon Valley has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 6.8 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Salisbury Township struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 6.7 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one. Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
