Braggs took a 42-point defeat the last time they faced off against Porum, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Braggs Wildcats had just enough and edged the Porum Panthers out 35-32. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Leading Braggs to victory were Jaylen Melton and Hazen Edwards. Melton posted six points and three steals, while Edwards scored eight points and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Sam Hensley, who put up three points.

Braggs' win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-1. As for Porum, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-7.

Braggs has already played their next matchup, an 83-33 victory against Cave Springs on the 10th. As for Porum, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 50-37 loss against Weleetka on the 7th.
