Salem Sayers Baptist Academy waltzed into their match Tuesday with two straight wins but they left with three. They took down Compass Rose Legacy 51-35. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Salem Sayers Baptist Academy also won the last time the pair played back in November.
Despite the loss, Compass Rose Legacy still got an impressive performance from Jaydn Munoz, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds. Munoz continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.
Salem Sayers Baptist Academy's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Compass Rose Legacy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Salem Sayers Baptist Academy will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on San Antonio Prep at 5:00 p.m. on January 4, 2024. As for Compass Rose Legacy, they will head out on the road to face off against Varsity Opponent at 5:30 p.m. on December 21st.
