Marshfield got themselves on the board against Nevada last Friday, but Nevada never followed suit. Marshfield took their match against Nevada by a conclusive 28-0 score. The Marshfield offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the match anyway.
Meanwhile, while not quite a landslide, the contest between Reeds Spring and Hollister was still a pretty decisive one as Reeds Spring wrapped it up with a 47-27 win.
Their wins bumped Marshfield to 4-2 and Reeds Spring to 5-1. In their victory, Marshfield relied heavily on junior Brennan Espy, who rushed for 160 yards and 2 touchdowns. Reeds Spring will need to find a way to minimize his impact if they want to win.
