The Rock Falls Rockets lost against the East Moline United Panthers back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Rock Falls was beaten by East Moline United 53-20. Rock Falls was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 33-11.
Several Rockets players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Nicolette Udell, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds.
Rock Falls has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season. As for East Moline United, they pushed their record up to 10-1 with that victory, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.
Rock Falls will face off against Moline at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Moline has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 21. As for East Moline United, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Quincy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Quincy is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
