The Gulf Pointe Latin Gladiators entered their tilt with Santa Rosa Christian with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Gulf Pointe Latin came out on top against Santa Rosa Christian by a score of 34-23 on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Gulf Pointe Latin also won the last time the pair played last Thursday.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Gulf Pointe Latin to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ava Matthews, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and six steals. Matthews has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last seven times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Coral Hamer, who scored six points along with 15 rebounds and three blocks.
The win got Gulf Pointe Latin back to even at 10-10. As for Santa Rosa Christian, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-11.
Gulf Pointe Latin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Santa Rosa Christian also has no future games currently scheduled.
