Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Oklahoma School for the Deaf to victory, but perhaps none more so than RyJan Reininger, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. Reininger has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last seven times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Russell Fewel, who scored 13 points along with eight assists and four steals.
Wisconsin School for the Deaf's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Oklahoma School for the Deaf, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season.
Wisconsin School for the Deaf will head out on the road to face off against Kentucky School for the Deaf at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Kentucky School for the Deaf comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 21 points in their last four games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. Oklahoma School for the Deaf will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Ohio School for the Deaf at 9:30 a.m. on January 20th. Ohio School for the Deaf will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in their respective state's rankings (they are ranked 815th in Ohio, while Oklahoma School for the Deaf is ranked 372nd in Oklahoma).
