The Asheville T Trailblazers will challenge the Bethel Christian Academy Crusaders at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Asheville T's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last three matches.

Asheville T blew past Asheville School (Independent) 18-4 on Tuesday. The Trailblazers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Jack Kinavy-Roesberry was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Kinavy-Roesberry was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-5. He is becoming a predictor of Asheville T's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 0-6 when he doesn't).
In other batting news, Asheville T got a massive performance out of Gage Flowers, who scored three runs and stole four bases while going 2-for-4. Corin Davis was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing four bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.
Asheville T was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .379. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, after some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last four games, Bethel Christian Academy finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They came up short against Varsity Opponent, falling 16-1. The contest marked the Crusaders' lowest-scoring match so far this season.
Asheville T's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Bethel Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.
Thursday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Asheville T has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .465. However, it's not like Bethel Christian Academy struggles in that department as they've averaged .463. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
