Basketball Recap: Seneca Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Karmandee Hall and Ja'nyce Floyd

Seneca lost against Walhalla last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Seneca Bobcats fell 52-39 to the Walhalla Razorbacks. While losing is never fun, the Bobcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 74th, while the Razorbacks are ranked 15th).

Seneca's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Ja'Nyce Floyd, who posted 11 points, to go along with five assists and four steals, and Karmandee Hall, who had 12 points. That's the most points Hall has posted since back in January.

This is the second loss in a row for Seneca and nudges their season record down to 2-5. As for Walhalla, their win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Seneca will welcome Pendleton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Walhalla, they will host Pickens at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
