Eminence has enjoyed the comforts of home their last four games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on the Carroll County Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Carroll County took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Eminence, who comes in off a win.
Eminence scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 63-19 win over Beth Haven at home. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Eminence considering their 16-point performance the game before.
Eminence relied on the efforts of Georgia Scott, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 15 rebounds, and Victoria Spiegl, who scored 20 points along with seven assists and seven steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Scott has scored all season. Brooklyn Smith was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, Carroll County ended up a good deal behind the Rebels on Tuesday and lost 53-39. Carroll County has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Eminence's victory bumped their record up to 7-13. As for Carroll County, their loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 5-15.
Eminence beat the Panthers 51-44 in their previous meeting back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Eminence since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
