Greene County had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They took their game against Perry on Friday 14-6. Perry can consider this payback for the 14-17 loss they dealt Greene County the last time the teams encountered one another. This was the first game for both teams, giving Greene County a 1-0 record and starting Perry off at 0-1.
Next week, Greene County take on Nevada at 7:00 PM. As for Perry, they will face of against A-D-M.
