After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Southern Valley, the Elm Creek Buffaloes were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They managed a 66-60 win over Alma. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Elm Creek's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ashley Bauer, who scored 15 points along with 6 steals. Elm Creek will be playing at home against Sumner-Eddyville-Miller at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Sumner-Eddyville-Miller will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Alma, they will head out on the road to face off against Blue Hill on Thursday. Hopefully Blue Hill focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 last Friday.
