Grafton has gone a perfect 4-0 against Doddridge County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Bearcats will face off against the Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. Grafton is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.

While Grafton's win against Lincoln wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bearcats won by a run and slipped past the Cougars 4-3. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last six times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Grafton's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Moats, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Doddridge County didn't have quite enough to beat Philip Barbour on Monday and fell 6-5. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Grafton's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-13. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for Doddridge County, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-8.

Grafton took their win against Doddridge County in their previous matchup two weeks ago by a conclusive 11-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bearcats since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
