Eupora extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Peyton Perkins. The Eagles breezed past the Ethel Tigers to the tune of 44-14 on Friday with plenty of help from Perkins, who rushed for 156 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only ten carries, and also threw for 111 yards on perfect 6-for-6 passing. His longest rush was for an incredible 80 yards.

Although Ethel took the loss, they still got scores from Taylon May and Jayden Ferguson.

Eupora's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Ethel, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Eupora wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 52-28 victory against Water Valley on the 18th. As for Ethel, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 16-7 win against Clinton Christian Academy on the 19th.
