In what's become a running theme this season, the Captain Shreve Gators gave their fans yet another huge victory on Monday. They claimed a resounding 59-27 victory over Byrd at home. Winning may never get old, but Captain Shreve sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Ejoshua Mcdonald continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 18 points along with seven rebounds and six steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last five games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Aaron Guinn, who scored eight points along with 11 rebounds.
Captain Shreve has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season. As for Byrd, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost 12 of their last 14 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record this season.
Captain Shreve will head out on the road to take on Parkway at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Parkway has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 895 points over their last 13 matches. As for Byrd, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Airline at 7:30 p.m. Airline presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Byrd in Louisiana (Airline is ranked 68th, while Byrd is ranked 1168th).
