The Dover Crimson Tornadoes's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight loss. They were the victim of a rough 43-18 loss at the hands of Tuscarawas Valley. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Dover has scored all season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Tuscarawas Valley to victory, but perhaps none more so than Locie Levengood, who scored eight points along with four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Sally Ray, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Dover has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season. As for Tuscarawas Valley, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-2.
Dover will head out on the road to face off against Weir at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Tuscarawas Valley, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Ridgewood at 3:30 p.m.
