On Friday, Sylacauga got the win against Zion Christian Academy by a conclusive 65-42.
Sylacauga found their leader in underclassman Erick Oneal, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds. The game was Oneal's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Jordan Roberson was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with five assists and three steals.
Sylacauga's victory bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Zion Christian Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.
Sylacauga is on the road again on January 6th and play against Lincoln at 7:30 p.m. on January 6th. Zion Christian Academy and Summertown will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Averaging 74.1 so far this season, Summertown's high-powered offense has been in full-swing lately, so Zion Christian Academy better be ready for a challenge.
