After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Muir, Burbank was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Hoover Tornados as they made off with a 15-0 victory. The Bulldogs' offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last three games.

The team relied heavily on Chloe Updike, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with three runs, three RBI, and one double. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kassandra Davila, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and two doubles.

Burbank always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .966. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

With the win, Burbank broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 9-14-1. As for Hoover, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-11 record this season.

Burbank wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 9-5 defeat against Glendale on the 7th. As for Hoover, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 16-2 victory against Pasadena on the 7th.
