Julian Lewis Dazzles in Carrollton Victory
Julian Lewis's big game helped extend Carrollton's winning streak to seven on Friday. Lewis was unstoppable, throwing for 325 yards and six touchdowns while completing 81.5% of his passes.
Carrollton pushed their record up to 7-0 with the win, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. Lewis and Carrollton will challenge Chapel Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

DJ Bourdeaux Goes Supernova in Douglas County Victory
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday DJ Bourdeaux stepped things up a notch to give Douglas County the 'W'. East Coweta had no answer to Bourdeaux as he threw for 285 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 12.4 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 100 yards on only five carries.
Douglas County pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Tigers challenges Westlake at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Jayshon Stegall Turns in Season-Best Performance
Sadly, Jayshon Stegall posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead East Coweta over Douglas County on Friday. Stegall rushed for 188 yards and a touchdown while picking up 9.0 yards per carry, and also picked up 36 receiving yards. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 75-yard run.
East Coweta now has a losing record at 3-4. Stegall and East Coweta will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Carrollton at 7:30 p.m. on October 18th.

Travis Smith Jr Crosses Big Stat Threshold
On Friday, Westlake had to settle for second even though Travis Smith Jr put up the best numbers he has all season. Smith Jr picked up 259 receiving yards and two touchdowns. The performance once again pushed his average receiving yardage north of 100 yards per game (121.3). Westlake is undefeated when Smith Jr posts 80 or more receiving yards, but 0-4 otherwise.
Westlake's defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-4. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Lions challenges Douglas County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Zamarcus Lindley's Big Game Leads Douglas County over East Coweta
Another Douglas County player making an appearance on this list is Zamarcus Lindley. He rushed for 192 yards and a touchdown while picking up 11.3 yards per carry.
This season, Lindley has run in 8 touchdowns while averaging 119.1 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he had four rushing touchdowns.
