It was a good run, but the Comfort Bobcats/Deer unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They were outmatched by Llano on the road and fell 68-37. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Comfort has scored all season.
Weston Baker continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Llano, scoring 29 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Baker has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Kachura, who scored 12 points.
Comfort's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-10. As for Llano, they pushed their record up to 21-6 with that win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.
Comfort will head out on the road to take on Blanco at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Llano, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Brady at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Brady will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 1104th, while Llano is ranked 428th).
