Drew's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their seventh straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 61-26 loss at the hands of Northgate. Drew has struggled against Northgate recently, as their match on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Northgate's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from DeAsia Stinson, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Randria Wilcher, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 16 steals.
Drew's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-16. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 21.5 points per game. As for Northgate, their win bumped their record up to 14-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Drew will take on Northside at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Northgate, they will be playing in front of their home fans against McIntosh at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. McIntosh will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 332nd, while Northgate is ranked 133rd).
