The Odessa Tigers won the last time they faced the Republic Tigers, and things went their way on Saturday too. Odessa strolled past Republic with points to spare, taking the game 50-36.
Odessa had a senior duo take command as Melloney Deife scored 17 points along with six assists and two steals and Hayden Schuh scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Schuh has scored at least a third of Odessa's points. Another player making a difference was Leah Beth Claassen, who scored four points.
Odessa has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a massive bump to their 13-7 record this season. As for Republic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-10.
Odessa does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Republic also has no future games currently scheduled.
