With a playoff win on the line, Turner Ashby rose to the challenge on Friday. Everything went their way against the Monticello Mustangs as they made off with a 4-1 victory. Considering Turner Ashby have won ten games by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Monticello with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ayden VanHorn (2), Samuel Hildebrandt, and Lucas Picado.

Turner Ashby's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-2. As for Monticello, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-7-2.

Looking ahead, Turner Ashby will face off against Staunton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Staunton will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Turner Ashby surely won't give up without a fight. Monticello does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
