The North Hall Trojans will head out on the road to face off against the Cedar Shoals Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Two weeks ago, North Hall never let their opponents score. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 27-0 win over Chestatee. The result was nothing new for North Hall, who have now won four matchups by 22 points or more so far this season.
Cedar Shoals fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They blew past Chestatee 45-21.
Devin Hester and Anthony Hubbard were among the main playmakers for Cedar Shoals as the former gained 129 total yards and two touchdowns and the latter threw for 159 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 passes. Kayden Scott made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
North Hall's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Cedar Shoals, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.
North Hall lost to Cedar Shoals on the road by a decisive 28-14 margin in their previous meeting back in October of 2022. Thankfully for North Hall, Mandrell Glenn (who threw for 291 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 12.7 yards per attempt) won't be suiting up this time.
