On Friday, The Father Capodanno Grunts faced the Sandhills Classical Christian Lions in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Father Capodanno skirted past Sandhills Classical Christian 23-20. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Father Capodanno.
Sam Attar was the offensive standout of the contest as he rushed for 121 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.6 yards per carry. Braedan Hudson and his 84 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Father Capodanno's win.
Father Capodanno has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 4-6 record this season. As for Sandhills Classical Christian, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Father Capodanno does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Sandhills Classical Christian also has no future games currently scheduled.
