The Prestonwood Christian Lions scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They really took it to Bishop Lynch for the full four quarters, racking up a 69-21 victory at home. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-7.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Prestonwood Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Caiden Collins, who rushed for 176 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 7.0 yards per carry. The team also got some help courtesy of Kellen Tasby, who threw for 311 yards and three touchdowns while completing 79.2% of his passes.
Despite the loss, Bishop Lynch saw an underclassman step up: Legend Howell threw for 305 yards and a touchdown while picking up 11.7 yards per attempt. Ishmael Muhammad was another key contributor, picking up 177 receiving yards.
Prestonwood Christian has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-2 record this season. As for Bishop Lynch, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-8.
