After having lost a blowout to McCool Junction in their previous game, Hampton was happy to find some success on Friday. Hampton were fully in charge, breezing past Santee 43-6. The success represented a nice turnaround for Hampton, who in their last game suffered a tough 6-61 loss.
Hampton's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 43 points in the first half. Santee came up with 6 to make it 43-6 heading into the break. The other side of the ball continued to do well for Hampton in the second half and held Santee to 0 points. The win got Hampton back to even at 1-1. The defeat started Santee out at 0-1 for the season.
Next week, Hampton take on Dorchester at 7:00 PM. Hampton continues their travels as they hit the road for the second straight contest. Santee are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against McCool Junction next week at 7:00 PM.
