Landon Ward Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
 Starting off the list is Willcox's  Landon Ward, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday  Ward made three total tackles and defended four passes, good enough to  also set a new career-high in  rushing yards in the process. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 58 yards.
 Willcox has  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record  this season. Ward and Willcox will take on Benson at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.

Bisbee Gets a Boost from Lopez in  35-21  Win
  Sebastian Lopez was instrumental in extending Bisbee's winning streak to five on Friday. Lopez did his part (and then some), throwing for 255 yards and three touchdowns on only 17 passes, while also rushing for 40 yards for the 'W'. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, forcing a fumble, making eight total tackles,  and defending three passes in addition to snagging   an  interception.
 Lopez and Bisbee are taking a road trip to  square off against Tombstone  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Pumas had to take a loss when they last met the Yellow Jackets, but  Lopez had little to do with the loss: he threw for 184 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 50 yards. Can he match (or beat) that performance?

Flint Davis Goes Supernova in Benson Win
  Flint Davis was instrumental in extending Benson's winning streak to three on Saturday. Davis did his part (and then some), rushing for 150 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries for the 'W'. His longest rush was for an impressive 65 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
 Benson pushed their record up to 5-3 with the  victory, which was their fourth straight  at home. Davis and Benson will play host again  on Friday to welcome Willcox, where kickoff is scheduled  at 7:00  p.m.

Jmiah Wallis and Co. Win Third in a Row
  Jmiah Wallis was instrumental in extending Tombstone's winning streak to three on Friday. Wallis was dynamite, rushing for 148 yards and two touchdowns. He really tore up the turf  during one magnificent 85-yard run.
 Tombstone pushed their record up to 5-3 with the  victory, which was their seventh straight  at home dating back to last season. Wallis and Tombstone will take on Bisbee at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.

A Season-Best  Performance from  DJ Elias Leads Tombstone over Santa Rita
  DJ Elias produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Tombstone to the win  on Friday. Elias rushed for 65 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 81 yards and three touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes, good enough to  set a new career-high in  rushing yards in the process.all of that, rushing production came thanks to one massive run
 For the season,  Elias  has thrown 6 touchdowns while averaging 118 passing yards per game.
