The East Robertson Indians are taking a road trip to  square off against the Richland Raiders  at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. One thing working in East Robertson's favor is that they have posted at least ten  runs  in their last four matches.
On Thursday, East Robertson made easy work of Stewart County  and carried off  a  16-4 win. The Indians might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by six  runs or more this season.
 Meanwhile, Richland fought the good fight in their extra-innings  contest against Loretto  on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of  3-2. Having soared to a lofty 12  runs in the game before, the Raiders couldn't push the score so high this time.
 East Robertson is  on a roll lately: they've  won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record  this season. Those  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 11.2 runs over those games. As for Richland, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-11.
 East Robertson skirted past Richland  2-0 in their previous meeting  back in May of 2021. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
