The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for West Campus in their matchups with Valley: they've now lost eight in a row.
West Campus has not been sharp recently as the team's lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-9-1 record this season. As for Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-4-4 record this season.
